Mobilization Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Coordinates teacher placement throughout the network for specific schools.
Carries out functions such as screening and gathering information on applicants, checking references and background as needed, evaluating applicant qualifications, consulting on doctrinal questions/information and presenting/posting prospects for hire.
Works on and maintains internal job posting program, placement board, and applicant tracking system.
Fosters and maintains a good relationship and line of communication with the head of school at each school served (learning what type of individuals are needed for the specific location, and specific job qualifications that each head of school seeks in hiring new staff, etc.)
Assists in new employee orientation programs for the department and for new administrators.
Manages automated application and applicant tracking systems.
Maintains data on applicant flow, interviews, and hires.
Confers with administrators and other NICS staff to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills for school openings.
Assist with recruiting trips as placement responsibility load allows. These trips will be approved and coordinated by the Mobilization Director. Applicable Recruiter responsibilities apply.
Travels internationally to visit network schools served (on a rotational basis) to learn about the school ministry and the culture of the host country to adequately perform placement duties.
Nurtures and develops contacts to help identify and refer qualified candidates.
Assist on Home Office committees as needed
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; one to two years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and teaching experience. Prior overseas educational experience is desired.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts so as to sufficiently record and track travel expenses and placement statistics.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Basic knowledge and skills related to office telephone and computer usage. Related to computer usage, basic knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office programs and Google Drive used within the Mobilization/US Operations department and the NICS Home Office.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Applicants must have a current state driver's license, and a valid U.S. passport.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Able to carry boxes of brochures and recruiting materials (no more than 25 pounds) and set up a display at recruiting venues.
