The Opportunity:
NICS/OASIS Global Operations is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Academic Development to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for academic excellence across our network. As the Director of Academic Development, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our network of schools through instructional guidance, curriculum development, and the implementation of Network Standards of Best Practices (SBP).
Key Responsibilities:
-Network Instruction, Curriculum, and Academic Leadership: Provide expert guidance, resources, and professional development opportunities to network schools in areas of instruction and curriculum. Facilitate connections and partnerships with organizations such as BWV, Atlas, WIDA, and ACSI regarding transcripts and other academic resources.
-Network Standard of Best Practice (SBP) Oversight: Ensure the consistent implementation and ongoing evaluation of the Network Standards of Best Practice across all schools.
-Network Child Safety Team Member: Participate as a member of the Network Child Safety team if requested.
-Network Academic Policy Oversight: Oversee the development, implementation, and review of network-wide academic policies, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
-Certification Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison for certification processes relevant to our network and schools.
-Global Ops Leadership: Serve as an active member of the Global Operations leadership team.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
-Master's Degree or higher in Education or a related field.
-Demonstrated leadership experience in an educational setting.
-Significant experience in international Christian education.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
-Strong organizational and project management abilities.
-Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
-A deep commitment to Christian education and serving a global network of schools.
-Ability to travel internationally.
