Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), Yongsan International School provides a quality educational program that prepares students to continue their studies at leading universities throughout the world. Students who graduate or earn credits from Yongsan International School have no difficulty having their degrees or units recognized anywhere in the world. YISS is a member of the Network of International Christian Schools, so it is our practice to hire faculty and staff who are practicing Christians.
The school experience of our students is enriched by the rich cultural diversity of our student body. This year, the school has over 1000 students representing more than 55 different countries. The atmosphere created by the various experiences and backgrounds of the student body provides them with unique opportunities to grow relationally and prepares them for a lifetime of learning and service both in their home countries and internationally.
Yongsan International School is located in the heart of the foreign community in Seoul. Constructed in 2006, our campus includes over 60 general and specialized classrooms, meeting rooms, administrative offices, an elementary library, a secondary library, a 500-seat auditorium, two gymnasiums, two outdoor playground areas, an indoor swimming pool, a regulation-size artificial turf soccer field and above and below ground parking areas.
A Director of Enrollment Services acts as the representative and authorized agent of the school in all business matters affecting YISS, providing leadership, oversight, and strategic planning of all student enrollment related activities.
