School Background
International Christian School of Pyeongtaek, located in the city of Pyeongtaek, is approximately 50 miles south of the city of Seoul and has a steadily growing population of approximately 500,000 people.
Pyeongtaek and its surrounding area has been chosen by the US military to be a "hub" location for Korea and the school is close to Osan Air Base and US Army Garrison Humphreys. The school's proximity to these military installations impacts school enrollment and more than 40% of the students have parents who work for defense-related companies.
ICS-Pyeongtaek follows a Kindergarten through Grade 12 American education program and is seeking educators who have enthusiasm and passion for Jesus Christ. Job Summary
To be a committed and mature, mission-minded Christian believer who is an effective team member, creating and maintaining a positive learning environment that supports every student. The teacher will also have the opportunity to lead students through extracurricular activities and mentor/family groups.
In addition, the teacher will:
Differentiate instructional delivery based on student needs leading to mastery learning
Give regular feedback to students and parents regarding student progress through Alma gradebook and other means
Adhere to and continually develop adopted ICSP curricula through use of approved curriculum and completion of curriculum mapping plans
Participate in continuous school improvement efforts and committees
Fulfill student supervision duties as assigned
Embrace a spirit of professional growth

General Responsibilities
Looking for an IT Specialist who will also serve as an Information and Communications Technology/Computer Science Teacher. The IT Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, supervising, and maintaining instructional and administrative information systems and technology, including design and maintenance of the school’s website. The IT specialist will also teach upper elementary, middle school and Advanced Placement courses and provide support to lower elementary homeroom classes.

Qualifications
Current state or provincial issued teacher certification, Minimum of 2 years teaching/admin/business experience, Minimum of an undergraduate degree, Experience Teaching in an international or cross-cultural environment
