Bandung Alliance Intercultural School

School Info:

Name:Bandung Alliance Intercultural School

Region:Asia

School Background:
Founded in 1956, Bandung Alliance Intercultural School (BAIS) has a rich history of transforming hearts and minds in community. We exist to provide every child with a challenging education based on a biblical worldview in order to impact our local community and those communities around the world that our children end up joining. We desire to see our students to be sources of flourishing in this world. Therefore, we are committed to discovering and discerning truth, seeking excellence, collaborating in our community, showing compassion towards others, and focusing on growth and achievement.
In 2008, we relocated to a purpose built campus in beautiful Kota Baru Parahyangan which is 30 minutes outside of Bandung, Indonesia. We are part of a growing international community focused on developing an "education-oriented independent city" that is focused on developing spaces where humans and the environment can flourish together. Our community consists of 211 students whose families represent 13 different countries. When asked what makes BAIS special, many have responded that they feel that "BAIS is a second home."
